Obituary

Mar Jury
1970 -2020
Mar Jury, 50, returned to her heavenly home on March 24, 2020, after a severe battle with her illness. She accepted the Lord Jesus as her savior and that relationship not only gave her peace but also to her love ones and her families in Christ as well.
Mar Jury, was born to Mr. Saw Roh and Mrs. Paw May Blu in Kwe Lay village, Hlaing Pwe Township, Burma on December 28, 1970. She was the oldest of eight siblings. Due to the size of the family, she was adopted by her aunt Naw Thaw May. In 1991, she moved to Thailand where she worked and served the community as a nurse at MSF, PPAT hospital and TB clinic until 2008. During these years, she married to Mr. Wisdom Say at age 21 on April 23, 1992, and blessed with four children.
She came to the United States of America in 2008 with her family as a refugee. Since then, she helped and supported her family while working at Atlas later became Century Linen and Uniform until she was diagnosed with a tumor on her liver in March 2020.
Mar Jury loved the Lord and had a deep desire for her family to know and to have an intimate relationship as she did. She was kind, understanding, loving and her wonderful laughs helped lifted the burden of the people around her. She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator and savior.
Mar Jury is survived by her husband, Wisdom; her daughter, Nightingale; her sons, Saw Eh Say, Friendly Say and Tutor Say; her grandchildren, Draven Jacob Blackford and Coby Alan Blackford; brothers, Ker Ner Say, Saw Lah Htoo, K’ Yaw Htoo, and Ka Htoo;
sisters, Ma Keh, Naw Baw and Hser Kaw Paw.
Burial will be private in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Contributions can be made in her honor to the family.
