Yvette Gibson-Decontie, 68, of Syracuse passed away on Wednesday. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include her children, Renee and Randy Gibson; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Citaria (Stan) Smith of Arizona, Curtiss (Pat) Gibson, Dexter Gibson, Rodney Gibson, Rodney Gibson, Fawn Jones and Elizabeth Powless all of Syracuse; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday, Mar. 8th, from 5 to 7 pm at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse.
