William “Bill” R. Volz, 76, of North Syracuse passed away peacefully on Wednesday. He was a Communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1972. Bill was employed as a service manager for more than 50 years for Pat Bombard Buick, Romano Regal Buick and Sam Dell Chrysler Jeep. He was predeceased by his wife, Beverly B. “Bev” in 2022; and his sisters Shirley Crandall and Aberta Billy. Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer (Chip) Volz-Nitzke; a son, William A. “Billy” (Beverly) Volz; His brother, Donald (Donna) Volz; his sister, Molly Beaubiah; five grandchildren, Cody Nitzke, Alicia Nitzke, Jacob Nitzke, Genevieve Volz and Allison Volz; and a great-granddaughter, Aria Belle Nitzke. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd, Syracuse with a service to follow at 7:00 pm.
