Susan L. Moore, 65, of Liverpool, and longtime resident of Jordan, NY, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022. Susan was originally from the Binghamton area where she graduated from Chenango Valley High School and obtained a degree in Environmental Chemistry from Binghamton University. She found great joy and fulfillment in her career as an Environmental Specialist with NYSDOT and enjoyed her many years working at NYSEG. During her free time, she loved watching sunsets, being on the water, reading, her kitties, playing cards and games, and her cherished family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Marian and Earl Coon, and by her brother, Neil Coon. Survivors include her husband, James Moore; her daughters, Jessica (David) Wolf-Hudson and Alyssa Wolf; her son, Adam (Kelly) Welchert; her grandchildren, Alivia, Avianna, Elliott, and Kate; her siblings, Jim Coon, Chris Wilcox, Eileen Higsby, Melinda Stanley, Lisa Smaha, and David Coon; step-daughters, Kiyara and Marissa Moore; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be Saturday, Apr. 9th, from 3 to 6 pm at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse, with reflections and remembrances of Susan’s Life being shared at the conclusion of calling hours.
