Steven R. Miller, 82, of West Monroe, NY; died on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at his home. He was born in Syracuse, NY; the son of the late, Claude and Catherine Yehley Miller. Steve worked with his brother, Claude, at Miller's Plumbing, Heating and Electrical. He was a Communicant of St. Anne Mother of Mary Roman Catholic Church, in Mexico, NY and a member of the Mexico Senior Stars. He was a long-time member of the West Amboy Volunteer Fire Department. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Carol, in 2017. Steve is survived by, his sons, Steven (Susan) Miller, of Syracuse, NY and Christian (Lauri) Miller of San Diego, CA; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his brother, Claude (Eldora) Miller, of West Monroe, NY; and his sister, Geraldine Gramp, of VA. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 from St. Anne Mother of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 3352 Main Street, Mexico, NY. Friends and family are invited to call from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 2983 W. Main Street, Parish NY and from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Boulevard, Syracuse NY. Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019 in Assumption Cemetery.
