Ross H. Sanford, Sr., 80, of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday, he was the son of the late Beatrice Cornell and Frank Sanford. Ross previously lived in West Palm Beach, FL. He was a beloved father, grandfather and friend, who will be deeply missed, and be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and for the wonderful person he was. Even though life wasn’t easy, he still tried to be there for others. Survivors include his children, Tanya, Kevin, Helen, Ross III, Ross, Jr. and Richard; his grandchildren; his siblings, Lynda, Elva, Bill, Shirley, Walter, Dicki, Barb, Vivian, Mary, Eunice, and Henry; step-mother, Mary Hurn and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday, May 20th, from 2 to 5 pm at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse. Services will be at 5 pm.
