Rose M. VanHooser, 87, of Brewerton, passed away on Friday. Rose retired in 1993, after 24 years of service, with Boorum & Pease, where she worked as a Punch Press Operator. She was predeceased by her husband, Keith in 1985 and by her son, Vincent Prall in 1993. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Seltzer; her sons, Henry DeShane and Richard Prall; sisters, Betty Sharman and Mary Anne Lawrence; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday, Jan. 15th, from 12 to 1 pm at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse. Services will be at 1 pm and burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
