Rosalyn Kochanek, 72, of Syracuse passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021. Rosalyn was born in Syracuse, to the late Bernard and Adele Florczyk, and was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School. For many years, she was employed with Barnello Insurance. In addition to spending time with family and friends, especially Robin Haaf, she found great joy doing crafts and was an avid animal lover.
Survivors include her daughter, Rosemarie Sullivan; her grandson, Matthew; her brothers, Robert (Judy) and David (Janice) Florczyk; her niece, Adrianna and nephews, Keith, Scott, Douglas, Jeremy, Joshua and Nicholas. She was predeceased by her husbands, Brian Kellogg and Richard Kochanek. Rosalyn’s life will be remembered in a private service. Contributions in Rosalyn’s honor may be made to Francis House and/or the Humane Assoc.
