Ronald A. Overy 65, of Syracuse, NY passed away on December14. He was born on May 4th,1957, to William and Joan Overy in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Ron was known for his love of his family and being jack-of-all-trades. He loved fixing everything from cars to the family’s backyard pool. In short, he was a genius. Ron inflicted his love of laughter and kindness on all who knew him. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friends to many.
A heartfelt thank you to Marilyn Rees, Ron’s devoted and loving friend. She selflessly and timelessly dedicated more than a decade of her life to caring for her “Buddy” and the family are and will forever be, eternally grateful.
Ron was predeceased by his father William Overy. He is survived by his former spouse, Lynn Overy; his three children, Melanie Erwin, Renee Senn, and Kevin Overy; his mother, Joan Overy; his sister, Sandy Morris; his brother, Steven Overy and seven loving grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
