November 18, 1946 - February 6, 2020
Bob Walsh, 73, of Lyncourt passed away after his hard-fought battle with cancer, at his home on Thursday. He was a life-long resident of the Syracuse Area, was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from Allied Chemical, following 37 years of service. Following retirement, Bob continued working as an EMT, as a Registered Nurse at Van Duyn and at ADESA. He enjoyed travel and his cherished Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. With pride for his Scottish-Irish Heritage, he would often declare, “I love to drink, but hate to pay for it”. Survivors include his wife, Mary Trichilo; his son, Robert Walsh, III; his daughter, McLean Walsh; his grandchildren, Joe, Kristina, Tommy and Talia; his four great-grandchildren (with the anticipated arrival of his 5th) and his siblings. Calling hours will be Tuesday, Feb. 11th, from 4 to 7 pm at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse.
