Robert “Bob” W. Coye

Bob Coye, 89, of Kirkville passed away on Thursday. Bob graduated from Nottingham High School in 1950, and was a graduate of Colgate University in 1954. He received a bachelor's degree in architecture from Syracuse University in 1961, and a master’s degree in 1972 from SUNY Oswego. He proudly served with the US Army. In 1989, he retired from OCM BOCES, where he was a computer drafting instructor, for more than 20 years. Bob was a very active member of May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society, where he sang in the choir, was a chair member on many committees, and served as President of Congregation. He was predeceased by his wife, Norma H. in 2007. Survivors include his committed partner, Darlene M. Dunlap; his sons, William D. (Lynn) Coye of Tulsa, OK and Robert N. (Beth) Coye of Camillus; his grandchildren, Taylor, Olivia and Dan; his great-grandchildren, Jacob and Benjamin. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
