Raymond M. Kennedy, 49, of Syracuse NY, passed away unexpectedly on November 23, 2022. Raymond will continue his journey to join his mother, Dorothy Kennedy (Jocko), his father, Arthur Lee Kennedy, his father-in-law, James Morse, sisters, Barbra Ann Lazore and Dolores Lazore, brothers, John Lazore and Arthur (Butch) Lee Kennedy Jr, brother-in-law, John Morse, chosen brothers, James Jocko and Ronald (Rocky) King in heaven. Raymond is survived by his wife, Vicky Kennedy (Morse); daughter, Aireyanna Kennedy; son, Raymond Kennedy; his mother-in-law, Elaine Morse; sisters, Audrey Kennedy, Valerie Lazore and Viola (Bernie) Lazore; sisters in law, Jackie Morse, Linda Maunder (TJ) and Laura Ortiz (Miguel); chosen sisters, Debbie Jocko and Samantha Bonner (Brian), brothers, Noah Lazore, Sam Lazore and Frank Kennedy, brothers -in -law, Kenny Morse (Stephanie), James Morse (Elizabeth) and Joseph Morse, chosen brother, Larry (Bear) Kennedy and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins. Raymond loved all of his family and friends. He would always tell stories to anyone that would listen. Raymonds outlook on life would outmatch any other despite his recent health issues that limited his mobility. A lover of all things food, Raymond always knew the best places to eat in any town he visited. Above all else, Raymond loved traveling, his Native Culture and his children. Raymond graduated from Fowler High School in 1992 where he played five years of Varsity Football. A true hard worker in life, Raymond worked at Marsellus Casket, SWIFT Transportation and most recently the City of Syracuse (Department of Public Works) where he would retire. A viewing will be held at Carter’s Funeral Home on December 2, 2022 from 4pm-7pm with service to follow.
