Patrick “Tor” Torio
April 9, 1955 - August 12, 2021
Patrick Torio, 66, died peacefully at home on Thursday.
Tor was a very loving, loyal man to all who knew him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved watching comedies. He was a gifted guitar player, who loved the Blues, was an avid sports fan, especially for basketball and the Yankees. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and spending time with family and friends, and was a dedicated caregiver to his mother, Angela.
He was a 1973 graduate of Assumption Academy and retired after a long career with The City of Syracuse Parks and Recreation Department. Tor was predeceased by his father, Pasquale. Survivors include his mother, Angela; his brother, Mark Torio; his sister, Rosanne (Lou Ferland) Torio; nephews, Mark and Patrick (Emily) Torio; nieces, Leah and Amber Corey; great-nieces, Annabelle and Rosalie; his great-nephew, Louis; many loving cousins and very dear friends.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, Aug. 25th, from 3 to 6 pm at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse. Services will follow at 6 pm.
