Mary Dorothy (Mauro) Bailey 91, of Syracuse passed away peacefully at home on Friday. She enjoyed playing cards weekly with family and frequenting the Turning Stone Casino. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Wally Bailey; her son, James Skloda; her sisters, Angie Lundy and Lucy Mauro; and her brothers, Carmen and Joseph Mauro. She is survived by her daughter, Lucy Mierzwa; her son, Paul Skloda; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 301 Ash St, Syracuse, NY 13208 followed by a Mass of Christian burial. Mary will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery.
