Marie A. Wise, 96, passed away Saturday November 12, 2022. A lifelong resident of Syracuse, NY she attended Syracuse City Schools and graduated from North High School. She was employed by Easy Washer Co. and Rockwell International. Although she never had children, she loved them dearly and would often buy them ice cream when she worked as a school lunch lady later in life. Marie was a proud member of St. Daniel’s Church. She is predeceased by her parents Patsy and Dora DiRubbo, her brother Anthony DiRubbo (Rita) and her beloved husband of 52 years Francis J. Wise. She is survived by her two nephews whom she treated as her own children, Anthony DiRubbo (Mary) and Patrick DiRubbo (Sandi). Services and burial were private in Assumption Cemetery.
