Margaret DeMarchi,88, of Lyncourt passed away on Tuesday. Born in London, England, Margaret served in Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corp. She moved to Canada in 1958 where she met her husband and worked in the British High Commission. Margaret moved to Syracuse at the age of 31 and worked as a legal stenographer for Bond, Shoeneck and King. She was predeceased by her husband, Giulio C. DeMarchi Margaret is survived by her daughter, Anita DeMarchi; her step-sister, Valerie of England; her two grandchildren, Michael (Holly) and Angela. Calling hours will be held on Friday July 12th at 5 PM to 7 PM. at the Carter Funeral Home, Inc. 1604 Grant Blvd. with services to follow. Burial will be private in Woodlawn Cemetery.
