Lawrence O. “Larry” Sperato

Lawrence O. Sperato 96, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at Syracuse VA Medical Center. He was graduate of Vocational High School. Larry proudly served in the Army during WWII. He was employed as a steel worker at Crucible Industries. Larry was predeceased his wife, Carmella in 2008. He is survived by his sons, Lawrence (Bonita) Sperato of Eastwood and Joseph (Theresa) Sperato of Fayetteville; a sister, Angie (John) Travato of Syracuse; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday 11a.m. at the Carter Funeral Home, Inc. 1604 Grant Blvd. followed by a service at 1p.m. Entombment with military honors will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
