Lauri A. Brooker, 51, of Mallory passed away unexpectedly on Sunday. She had been employed as a data entry clerk at Deluxe Check Printers. She was predeceased by her mother, Marjorie J. Huff in 2014, her brother, Charles R. in 2009 and nephew, David E. in 2001. Lauri is survived by her husband, Paul R. Brooker; her father, Charles R. Huff,Jr. of Syracuse; her brother, David E. (Amy) Huff of Syracuse; her father in-law and mother in-law, William and Jean Brooker; her brother in-laws, Mark (Sara) Brooker, Mike (Sandy) Brooker, John (Lisa) Brooker, Matt (Kim) Brooker and Andy (Stephanie) Brooker; several aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews. Lauri’s family extends special gratitude to the dedicated staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Unit D-3 West for their compassionate care. Calling Hours will be Friday 4 - 7p.m at the Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd. Syracuse. A service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
