John P. Orlick, 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday. He was a self-employed house painter. John proudly served in the Army as a Medic during Vietnam. He enjoyed singing and oldies music trivia. John was predeceased by his parents, William and Pauline Kitts; sister, Margaret Kitts and brother, Robert Orlick. Survivors include his daughter, Kerri (Dennis Capps) Spoor; his brothers, William N. (Eileen) Kitts, Clifford E. Kitts and Robert G. Kitts; his sister, Mary (Duke) Kitts-Dougall; his granddaughter, Kristy (Douglas) Sprouse; his great granddaughters, June and Skyler Sprouse; many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thank you to John and Tony. Calling hours will be Wednesday 6 to 8 pm at the Carter Funeral Home, Inc. 1604 Grant Blvd. Syracuse. Funeral services will be Thursday 8:30am at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
