James S. Skloda, 69, of Syracuse passed on Wednesday. He had proudly served in the Army. James had worked at Allied Chemical as an engineer and had also worked at Loretto as a health aide before retiring in 2016. He was predeceased by his father, Andrew Skloda. Survivors include his son, James Skloda; his mother, Mary Bailey; two sisters, Lucy Skloda Mierzwa and Linda (Tom) Catalano; two brothers, Paul Skloda and Mark (Debbie) Skloda; his two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services were private at the convenience of the family.
