James P. O’Brien, 46, of Syracuse passed away on Saturday. He was a native and life resident of Syracuse. James was a cook for various restaurants. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing cards and loved going to garage sales. He was predeceased by his father, Dennis O’Brien. Survivors include his companion, Marie Defio; his sons, Michael and Nathan O’Brien; his mother, Patricia O’Brien and his brother, David O’Brien. Calling hours will be Tuesday 11am to 1pm at the Carter Funeral Home, Inc.1604 Grant Blvd. Syracuse with services to follow. Contributions may be made in James’s honor to American Diabetes Association.
