Irene L. Hall, 78, began her journey to the Spirit World on Wednesday. Born Dec. 21, 1940 of the Mohawk Wolf Clan in the Akwesasne Mohawk Territory to Margaret Tarbell and Thomas J. Hall. She resided in Syracuse most of her life with her loving family. Retiring from the Rescue Mission/ House Keeping, she loved spending time with her family, playing cards and reminiscing about good times. If you knew her, then you would see her almost anywhere in the city walking, she loved walking. Irene was predeceased by her parents, her sisters, Hazel Hall and Sharon Jocko; her brothers, Harry and Randy Hall who she missed dearly. Irene is survived by her sons, Patrick G. (Cheryl) Darrow Jr. , Thomas J. (Bobette) Hall and Edward L. Hall; a daughter, Karen A. Hall; a sister, Lucille (Marvin) Mitchell; Brothers, Peter Hall Sr. and Gabriel Hall; grandchildren; great- grandchildren; great- great -granddaughter; many nieces and nephews also the numerous cousins and friends she grew up with. Calling hours will be Monday from 4pm to 7 pm at the Carter Funeral Home, Inc. 1604 Grant Blvd. Syracuse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. At St. Lucy’s Church 432 Gifford Street Syracuse, New York 13204. Burial will be Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
