Horace F. Blakley, 90, of Eastwood passed away at home. He had worked at General Electric for 38 yrs. as a supervisor. Horace volunteered at Crouse Hospital over 25 years. He was an avid blood donator with over 22 Gallons to his credit.
Horace was pre-deceased by his wife, Ramona (Mona) in 2004, his two brothers, Harold and Howard, his sister, Alice Westlake. He is survived by his son, Ronald (Peggy) Blakley of North Syracuse; his daughter, Patty Blakley Wilson of Painesville, OH; his twin grandsons, Christopher Blakley and Patrick (Lynette) Blakley both of North Syracuse; his great- grandchildren, Luca and Lena; several nieces and nephews. A very special friend and companion, Sue Loewer. Calling hours will be Monday 4p.m. to 7p.m. at Carter Funeral Home, Inc. 1604 Grant Blvd. Syracuse. A service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dewitt, New York.
