Harold A. “Hap” Pallone
October 4, 2021
Harold A. “Hap” Pallone, 71, of Lakeland passed away unexpectedly in his sleep October 4, 2021, after recently celebrating his 50th wedding anniversary.
“Hap”, as he was known by so many, was a lifelong resident of Syracuse, graduating from St. Anthony of Padua H.S. in 1967. He began his working career at Marsellus Casket Co., then with New Process Gear, many years with Pat Pallone Real Estate, then retiring from NTTS.
Hap enjoyed fishing and spending time at the family camp at Lake Como, where he taught his grandsons the “art” of playing cards. He enjoyed reading and vacationing at Sanibel Island, FL.
Pop is survived by his wife, of 50 years, Patricia (Gorman) Pallone; by his son, and his wife, Harold and Melissa Pallone II; by his grandsons, Harold III, Benjamen, and Luke; by his siblings, Pat (Carol) Pallone, Joseph (Mary) Pallone, and MaryBeth Healy; by his Aunt Rose Kuhn; by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in laws.
He said it like he saw it, lived his life his way, and as he would say, “the party’s over.”
Contributions in Harold’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the St. Anthony of Padua Alumni Association.
There will not be any services. The Carter Funeral Home of Syracuse is serving the family, thank you Jim and Pete Carter for always being there for our family.
