Frederick C. Wilson, Sr., 84, of Solvay passed away on Monday. Fred retired from Crouse Hinds, after many years of service. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. Fred was an avid outdoorsman and sports fan, who enjoyed fishing, hunting and following Syracuse University Sports. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy, and by his children, Frederick, Jr., Dawn and Randy. Survivors include his children, Rena Wilson, Sue Wilson, Shirley Latini, Patricia Wilson, Jeffrey Wilson and Misty (Jason) Butterfield; his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and his brother, John Wilson. Calling hours be Friday, September 10th, from 11:30 am to 1 pm at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse. Services will be at 1 pm and burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
