Fern Aley Forward, 93, of Mattydale passed away on Friday. Fern was born on Quality Hill, in the town of Lenox, the first child of the late Edward and Daisy (Popple) Aley. For many years, she resided in Constantia, NY, where she owned and operated the Trash or Treasure Antique Shop, and was a member of the Fire Deparment’s Ladies’ Auxiliary and VFW Post 7325. She is survived by a large extended family. To honor Fern’s wishes, there will not be any calling hours or services. Burial will be private.
