Elizabeth A. Young, 91, of Lyncourt passed away on Thursday. She was a communicant of St. Daniel Church. Betty was a book keeper for Assumption Cemetery. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Thomas J. in 2007. Betty is survived by her two daughters, Karen (James) Klaczko and Janet E. Wilson both of Florida; her three sons, Timothy J., Daniel F. and Terrence P. (Brenda) all of Syracuse; her sister, Sister Elizabeth Jean Allard of St. Joseph Provincial House; her six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home, Inc. 1604 Grant Blvd. Syracuse. A Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Wednesday at 9 a.m. at St. Daniel Church 3004 Court Street. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Contribution may be made in Betty’s honor to Sisters of St. Joseph’s Provincial House 385 Watervliet – Shaker Road Latham, New York 12110-4799.
