Earl A. Leahey Sr.

Earl A. Leahey Sr., 87, of Syracuse passed away on Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was a native and life resident of the first ward in Syracuse. Earl was a graduate of Rome School of the Deaf. He was an avid Sports Fan but was a real dedicated fan of SU basketball team. Earl was an active member of Aurora of CNY.
Earl was predeceased by his loving and devoted parents, Robert J. and Luella N. Leahey. Survivors include his wife, the former Sheila Butler; his children, Earl A. Leahey, Mary M. Leahey, Peter J. (Shawna) Leahey and Lynette T. (Jolene) Mason; his nine grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. in Assumption Cemetery. Earl’s family would like to extend an invitation to his home on Sunday from 1 to 4p.m for refreshments.
