David J. Pickreign Jr. 83, of Ocala, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday at his home under the care of hospice. He was a native of Ellenburg Center, NY where he worked on his grandfather’s farm before moving to Baldwinsville in 1958. David worked at Wabash previously Roth Brother’s until 2002 when he retired after 20 years.of service. He was a member of two churches, North Volney Methodist Church, NY and Douglas Baptist Church in Florida. David enjoyed dancing, traveling and camping. He was predeceased by his daughter, Shari Masterpole in 2016; his granddaughter, Caela Olschewske in 2018. Survivors include his companion of 12 years, Alice Carter; a son, Ronald Pickreign of Baldwinsville; his daughter, Lisa (Tracy) Fleming of Mexico, Laurie (Jerry) Olshchewske of Phoenix; his son -in-law, Mark Masterpole a sister, Bernadette (Lewis) Peck of Florida; two brothers, Ross Pickreign of Florida and Joseph (Jeanne) Pickreign of Brewerton; his nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren .A Memorial Service will be held Sunday after regular services at 12 pm at Douglas Baptist Church officiated by Reverend Joan Wagner 2790 AS 87th Place Ocala, Florida 34476. A graveside service will be held in the Spring at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery Warners, New York
