Cheryl M. Koflan, 60, of Pennellville passed away on Sunday. Cheryl was a graduate of Liverpool High School, attended CCBI and was formerly employed at Upstate Hospital. Her interests included photography and gardening, but her greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her mother, Mary Jean Hanley; her son, Charlie (Kristine) Koflan; her sister, Christine (Roger) Balintfy; her brothers, John (Susan) and Mark (Marcia) Hanley; nieces, Michaela Brianna, Kathryn; nephew, John, Jr.; uncle, Mike Hanley; aunt, Barbara Murray and many cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Jack Hanley, by her grandparents, Alfred and Alice Hanley and Thomas and Wilma Murray and by her uncles, Thomas and William Murray. Calling hours will be Saturday, Oct. 30th, from 10:30 am to 12 pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 425 Beechwood Ave., Liverpool, N.Y., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 pm. Burial will be private in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org .
