Cheryl E. Grome was called to heaven on Friday at the age of 74. The Lord sent us a borrowed angel and named her Cheryl. Cheryl's love for her family and friends, her shining smile, contagious laughter, and infectious personality brought joy to all who knew her and loved her. Cheryl lived her life to the fullest and gave her all to those she knew and loved. Angels must fly and so she has, to join our loved ones lost and to be free from pain. Cheryl is predeceased by her sister, Diane Sturick. She is survived by her daughter, Doris Grome Ryan and son in- law, George Ryan; her brothers, Richard, James, Brian and Fritz Block; her sisters, Kathleen Van Leuvan, and Michelle Buza. Calling hours will be Thursday August 26th at 6pm to 8pm at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd. with a service to follow.
