Carole A. Wilhelm, 84, of Syracuse passed away on Tuesday. She was communicant of St. Vincent DePaul Church. Carole was a faithful woman. She worked at St. Margaret’s and St. Lucy’s, volunteered for the Diocese of Syracuse, and other charities. She took care of her family and whoever was in need. Carole always rooted for the underdog! She was predeceased by her sisters, Barbara Craner and Marilyn McCorry; her brothers, Everett McCorry and Charles McCorry. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Frederick G. Wilhelm Sr.; her daughter, Karen M. (Steven E.) Burgwin; her son, Frederick G. (Denise) Wilhelm Jr.; her sister-in-law, Helen McCorry; her four grandchildren, Brett Burgwin, Jesse Wilhelm, McKenna Burgwin and Hunter Wilhelm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 am at St. Vincent DePaul Church 342 Vine Street Syracuse. A burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Dewitt.
