Angela A. Torio 92, of Syracuse passed away in her sleep on Monday. She was a native and life resident of Syracuse. Angela was a daughter of Francesca and Rose. She was a devoted mother to her three children and four grandchildren. Angela was predeceased by her husband, Pasquale, her son, Patrick; her brothers, Joseph, Cosmo and Tom Andoloro; her sisters, Rose Louise Sardano, Katherine Julian and Mary Vadala. Survivors include her son, Mark Torio; her daughter, Rosanne (Louis Ferland) Torio; grandchildren, Mark and Patrick (Emily) Torio, Leah, and Amber Corey; greatgrandchildren, Annabelle, Rosalie and Louis. Angela worked hard since her teen years. When she quit school to pick beans in Homer, NY. She was able to make enough money to buy her mom a new furnace and “it was a very proud moment “At sixteen yrs. old she worked at the Varsity at SU. Later in years she worked at Franklin School as an aid as well at Du Rocks Market where she befriended many from the northside. Angela was a tremendous cook and loved to entertain family and friends. She filled the house with great foods and plenty of love. Angela entertains by singing, playing the organ and guitar. She had many artistic qualities such as drawing, decorating and floral arrangements and more. Angela was always the first to lend a hand to someone in need. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend Angela will be truly missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known her. We love you, Mom.
