Obituary for Alice Joanne Capozza (Bevivino)

Alice Joanne (Bevivino) Capozza 80, went to be with the Lord on this day October 27th, 2018 after a brief illness, with her loving family by her side. She was a devout Catholic and a communicant of St. Daniels Church of which she instilled her faith in her children. Alice was a graduate of Solvay High School, and worked at Yellow Freight Trucking Company before retiring. She was an avid Yankees and Redskins fan, she enjoyed spending summers with her family at their camp in Sackets Harbor. She loved knitting, crocheting, and doing crossword puzzles. Alice also enjoyed trips to the casino with her two sisters and traveling to Disney World with her family. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family. She is predeceased by her Father and Mother Giovanni and Maria Bevivino and her grandson Branden Busch. Alice is survived by her loving husband, of 57 years John V. Capozza; her children, John E. Capozza, David (Michelle) Capozza, Paul Capozza, MaryBeth Busch and her partner Bill; son in law Robert; her three grandchildren Denyel Busch, Kara and Samantha Capozza; her sisters, Carlotta Bevivino and Elizabeth Cavedine; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9 am Wednesday at St. Daniel Church 3004 Court Street Syracuse NY. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
