Alfred “Butch” W. Butler, Jr.
August 15, 1940 - March 20, 2020
Butch Butler, 79, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Friday at home. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he attended North High School before enlisting in United States Navy. Butch was formerly employed by S & K Wine & Liquor Distributors and Liverpool Central School District.
He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Peggy Butler, and by his sister, Jackie. Survivors include his loving wife, Frances Butler; his daughters, Cindy Butler (Mike) of Onondaga Hill, Lynne Revette (Keith) of Syracuse and Kristi Butler (Frank) of Lyncourt; three stepchildren, Lynne Pirro (Joe) of Liverpool, Lori Ciarla (Lou) of Camillus and Ron Smith (Jennifer) of Onondaga Hill; his son, Craig Holava of Constantia; grandchildren, Jacob, Michael, Timothy, Joey, Anthony, Dominick, Joseph, Louie, Patrick, Alexandra, Ronnie, Madison and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be private and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Butch’s memory to Hospice of CNY.
