Rose Caprilozzi 94, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully June 4, 2017 at Francis House.

Rose was born March 30, 1923 in Cortland, the daughter of the late Dominick and Maria Giuliano Mantella.

Rose had been employed at ARA Food Group at Niagara Mohawk.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompei church.

Her memberships included the Syracuse Ladies Bocce League, McChesney Park Community Center, and former member of the St. Jude's follies.

Rose is survived by her daughter Judith (Daniel Trepanier) Caprilozzi of Syracuse, her grandson Ian Trepanier of Washington, DC, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Rose was predeceased by her husband Joseph Caprilozzi, brother Andrea Mantella, sisters Lena Ciampi, Grace Biviano, and Mary Charles.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday at the Carter Funeral Home 1604 Grant Blvd. Syracuse, NY 13208

Friends are invited to call from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm prior to the service.

Interment will be private.
